We are jumping right into spring with some Mexican flair! Our Pork & Black Bean Not-So-Chili-Con-Carne is brimming with zest and flavour, but don’t be fooled by the name we’ve turned the heat dial riiiiight down.

This dish kicks off with a hearty serve of sustainably sourced & free-range pork mince from our friends at Maugers Meat. To that we add a delicate mix of mexi spices plus chunky black beans and sweet and tangy red and green capsicums to really up the flavour profile.

We’ve paired this meaty, protein packed Chili with a cauliflower + brown rice mix to up your vegetable quota. Cauliflower is high in fibre, vitamin C, vitamin K and contains choline, an important postpartum nutrient important for memory and sleep.

Enjoy this bowl of Mexi goodness topped with our fresh tomato salsa (aka pico de gallo) and guacamole.

Ingredients:

Sustainably sourced & free-range pork mince, black beans, red & green capsicums, onions, garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, chili flakes, coriander, tomato, tomato paste, Cauliflower & Brown Rice Mix (cauliflower, onion, garlic, chicken bone broth, Biodynamic Rain-Fed Brown Rice) Guacamole (avocado, lime, salt, olive oil) , Pico de Gallo (tomato, red onion, coriander, salt, olive oil, lime)

Serving size & packaging:

2x compostable sugarcane trays + compostable film, 1x recyclable sauce container, 1x recyclable Bio Cup

Reheating instructions: 

Heat Chili Con Carne in a pot with a touch of water until hot.  Heat the Cauliflower/Brown Rice in a pan with a your choice of oil until warm & cooked through. Place Chili Con Carne atop the Cauliflower/Brown Rice and top with the Guacamole and Pico di Gallo.

Keep refrigerated. Freeze what you will not consume within one week (pork & cauliflower/brown rice portions only).
